Enquiries Workflow Update: Faster Lead Handling from Map Click to Franchise Assignment
Franchise enquiry handling is now much more structured inside BoundaryIQ.
This update improves the full process from a prospect selecting territories on the public map, through to internal review, acceptance, and assignment in management.
If your team is managing growth and wants fewer manual handoffs, this release is built for you.
What Was Improved
1) Better enquiry confirmation emails for prospects
When a prospect saves territory information, the confirmation email is now fully brand-aware and easier to act on.

You can now include:
- Tenant logo and company name
- Custom email header text and subtext
- CTA button with your chosen link
- Optional pricing and metric sections (toggle on/off)
- Metric values next to each selected district
- Snapshot image of selected areas
This gives prospects a clearer recap of what they enquired about and keeps the communication consistent with your brand.
2) New fixed "Enquired" visibility on the management map
We introduced a fixed enquiry status layer so teams can instantly spot areas with active interest.

Key behavior:
- Multiple prospects can enquire against the same district
- Management map highlights areas with active enquiries
- Public-facing label remains "Available"
- Highlighting is now tied to active workflow states only (not stale records)
So your ops team gets better awareness, without exposing internal process to public users.
3) Dedicated Manage Enquiries workflow in management
A new action button opens a case-by-case enquiry workflow:

- Filter by status
- Review detail per enquiry
- Start review
- Accept
- Decline
- Remove/archive
Archived enquiries are hidden by default for a cleaner triage view, but can still be viewed when filtered.
4) New enquiry notifications in the action bar
To avoid missed leads, the Manage Enquiries icon now shows a badge count for new enquiries.

It updates on load and during workflow changes, so your team can see pending activity at a glance.
Updated Accept & Decline Process
The acceptance flow is now designed to reduce admin steps and prevent dropped handoffs.
Accept now does the following:

- Prompts the user to create a new franchise
- Auto-fills the franchise email from the enquiry
- Assigns the enquiry territories to the new franchise
- Moves the enquiry to archived
Decline now:
- Records the decline decision
- Moves the enquiry to archived
This means reviewed enquiries no longer clutter the active queue.
UX Improvements Added Alongside the Workflow
- Manage Enquiries opens with a lightweight picker (review one enquiry or see all)
- Selecting a specific enquiry can pre-select and zoom to its territories
- Accept modal has been resized and made scroll-safe for smaller screens
These changes make triage faster, especially when teams are reviewing multiple enquiries per day.
Why This Matters for Franchise Ops Teams
This release helps teams:
- Respond to leads faster
- Keep enquiry decisions auditable
- Reduce manual copy/paste between enquiry and franchise setup
- Keep the management map aligned with real workflow state
As networks scale, this kind of operational consistency becomes critical to both conversion and governance.
